About Townfield Primary School
Townfield Primary School is a thriving school in Oxton, Wirral and that has come through a challenging period of transition. There are new Trustees and a strong Leadership team with a focus on school improvement with the aim to ensure the curriculum is challenging and stimulating and is designed to suit the needs of our pupils and the community in which we serve.

Teacher of the Deaf – Initially a one-year contract to start 1st September 2021. We require a suitably qualified and experienced teacher of the deaf to manage the small deaf resource base in school. Please note the post holder MUST hold a teacher of the deaf qualification. The post carries a minimum SEND point and the post holder is responsible to the SEND Lead. Salary M2 to M6 with a minimum SEND point.

The appointments will be subject to suitable references, professional qualifications, an Enhanced DBS/ Disclosure and other pre-employment checks.
We will be providing ‘socially distant’ tours of the school after the pupils have left after the Easter holidays week beginning 12th April 2021.
