We have an exciting opportunity to join our happy and successful school, teaching in Year 4. The successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher, or have the potential to become one, and will demonstrate a love of teaching. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to teach a lesson the week beginning 14th December as part of the interviewing process.

Tollgate is a Community Junior School maintained by the Local Education Authority. Built in 1968 it caters for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 11, the majority of whom feed in from St. Andrew's C of E Infant School. We are a three form entry school, but currently have four classes in Year 3 and Year 6.
The school has two large playgrounds with an ornamental and a natural wildlife pond. We also have a school field, where we have an outdoor classroom area, natural wild-life centre and a small orchard. There are ample facilities for sports a play.
The school has a partnership agreement with the Diocese of Chichester, which was signed in 2003.
