Waterside Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 teacher to cover maternity leave from January 2024 until July 2024. About the Role
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality teaching to ensure excellent learning outcomes for all pupils
- Managing classroom activities, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Upholding the school's ethos and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the school to develop best practices, ensuring a rich and engaging curriculum.
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Is enthusiastic, caring, and holds high expectations for both students and themselves.
- Has excellent communication skills and thrives working as part of a team.
- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in delivering consistently good or outstanding practice.
- Demonstrates an up-to-date understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). This is a full-time position, but part-time will be considered for the right candidate.
