What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, resilient class teacher and core subject coordinator to join our team who shares the same nurturing ethos as the rest of the school.

The successful candidate will initially be in Year 2 and have the responsibility for Maths and Art. They will need to demonstrate that they have:

  • Experience of working with children in preferably in KS1 and KS2,
  • Experience of supporting children to develop early reading skills,
  • Good knowledge of the National Curriculum especially mathematics,
  • The ability to enthuse pupils and develop within them a curiosity and love of learning,
  • The ability to work on their own initiative and as a member of a team,
  • A commitment to CPD and working with others to improve outcomes for pupils,
  • The ability to share best practice and latest subject research,
  • A positive, energetic and caring personality,
  • A good sense of humour.
