You will:

  • Be a consistently good / outstanding primary teacher
  • Have experience of teaching maths and science at KS2
  • Have strong leadership skills
  • Be passionate about teaching and learning and making a difference to every child.
  • Care passionately about children and their development whilst still driving forward pupil progress and achievement.
  • Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.

Ravensdale Junior School is a friendly, vibrant and aspirational school. The Head Teacher and Governors are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher to join our team. The role will also include the responsibility for leading maths and science across the school, being a Year Group lead for Years 3,4,5 or 6 and taking a full role in the senior leadership team. We are looking for a high calibre candidate who can help ensure that we continue on our improvement journey.
