wish to appoint a class teacher with SENCo responsibility from September 2024 - the class will be
dependent on your expertise and our needs. You must be hardworking,
experienced, dedicated and passionate about learning and have a drive to make a
difference to the education of all pupils across the school.

What the school offers its staff
Balladen Community Primary is a fantastic school that puts the pupils at the heart of all that we do. We intake 30 children and currently have 150 children on roll. Our school is going through a number of changes. We have an Ofsted grading of Requires Improvement, however our Ofsted monitoring report from November 2023 shows that the changes that we have made progress to improving the school. We are looking for someone who can help continue to drive the school forward to ensure that all our pupils achieve the very best.
The school values, along with our four rules of Respect: Respect for each other, Respect when learning, Respect for the school and Respect when moving, permeate all aspects of school life and the curriculum. The school’s identity filters through all aspects of school life, and our values underpin our whole curriculum. We are a welcoming school community and have close links with our parents/carers.
We ensure that our staff have great CPD and are becoming experts in teaching and learning with many opportunities for growth and development. As a school we are proud of the progress we have made with our SEN provision. We are happy to provide additional support initially as we want to ensure continuity for our pupils. You would be fully supported by our experienced leaders, strong and diverse DSL team and our Pupil & Family Support Worker.
