Year 4 Full time Class Teacher – Maternity Leave Cover

Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a full time Year 4 Class Teacher on a maternity cover, based at Aloeric Primary School.

Salary range: M1– M6, £31,650 - £43,606 per annum, dependent on experience.

Start date: 2nd December 2024

We are seeking applicants who are:

  • Confident teachers who demonstrate high expectations of both pupil achievement and behaviour for all
  • Experience in teaching Key stage 2
  • Energetic, warm and caring
  • Passionate about learning and demonstrate a desire to research and find out more in order to improve their own practice
  • Can work creatively using our outstanding curriculum as a starting point
  • Flexible, with a strong commitment to teamwork
  • Have great organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Keen to share and develop professionally as an outstanding, skilled teacher who demonstrates a potential for future leadership

The jobholder must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This will involve undertaking annual Safeguard training and using school reporting systems for any Safeguard concerns.

The selection process will include a lesson visit and a formal interview.
