The academy is at the heart of the community that it serves and is defined by High Aspirations, Valuing Learning and Achievement for all. We have created a school where children flourish. This is achieved through taking responsibility for the learning of pupils - planning, delivering, and assessing their learning whilst showing ambition to develop as an outstanding teacher. They play a key role in realising the overall vision, strategic development and direction of the Academy within capacity of Class Teacher. They will work towards typically good and outstanding lessons that achieve good pupil progress over time. They carry out the duties of a teacher as set out in the most recent School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document, and fulfil the duties of Leading Learning within the Key Stage. They teach children through a high quality and appropriate curriculum which meets the requirements of the Foundation Stage or National Curriculum and which ensures good or better progress for pupils.
