Class Teachers job summary
We wish to appoint high quality Class Teachers who strive to improve the outcomes and opportunities of every pupil. We have exciting opportunities for the right candidates at Pinchbeck East C E Primary Academy and Spalding Primary Academy, part of Infinity Academies Trust, for September 2022.
The successful candidates will be highly effective classroom practitioners who have a commitment to improving outcomes for all children. You will be passionate about teaching and learning and dedicated to ensuring that every child flourishes. These posts are an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and more experienced teachers.
The post holders will have overall responsibility for a class, teaching in either Key Stage One or Key Stage Two. You will plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the class within the context of the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work in order to ensure that all children make progress. You will assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of your class.
Regardless of starting point and background, we aim to enthuse, inspire and challenge all our pupils with a stimulating and relevant curriculum. We ensure that all our pupils are challenged and supported equally so they make progress and are equipped with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to step into next phase of their education with confidence. We have high expectations of all our pupils and aim for the very highest standards in all areas of the curriculum, including, of course, in the vital skills of reading, writing and being confident and competent with mathematics.
We care for each and every one of our pupils and place a huge emphasis on the pastoral care and support we offer to all children and families in our communities. We recognise that education goes beyond the academic and we put the necessary time and resources into trying to ensure all children’s needs are met so they are ready to learn and can flourish every day.

Spalding Primary Academy and Pinchbeck East Primary Academy are two form entry schools serving the Spalding and Pinchbeck communities; our schools are a microcosm of the communities we serve. We believe that every child has the right to learn in the highest quality learning environment. We promote learning that inspires and develops children's curiosity through our broad curriculum. We want our children to be literate and numerate but we also want them to develop a love and interest in a range of subjects.
Every child in our schools knows they are valued, knows they have a voice and know that voice will be heard. We have high aspirations and expectations for every child and all we ask in return is that every child gives their best with an open and inquisitive mind.
Recognising the historic foundation of Pinchbeck East CE Primary, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England/Church in Wales and in partnership with the Churches at parish and diocesan level. We aim to serve our community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. We encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promote Christian values through the experience we offer to all our pupils.
Our values are centred on the child and to us every child really does matter. We provide a caring environment in which we strive to meet the learning needs of every child to enable each and every one to reach his or her full potential. We want to encourage a ‘can do’ approach and attitude; we want our children to have the confidence to have a go and try; we want our children to leave at the end of Year 6 as confident students with enquiring minds and a love of learning.
