Class teachers (Primary) job summary

In September 2019, we will be opening three new classes in our Primary Section and therefore we are looking to appoint classroom teachers to join our team. We have a flexible staffing structure, consequently we are interested in recruiting experienced or newly qualified staff who wish to deliver in KS1 or 2. Portsmouth City Council’s admissions team have recently confirmed that we are the most popular Primary Setting in the city with over 5 applications per place and extensive waiting lists across all phases. Given the anticipated demand for this post, we are intending to run a rolling programme of interviews and therefore these posts will be filled as and when suitable candidates apply. Therefore, we strongly recommend prospective candidates to consider early applications and we reserve the right to close these vacancies early.
