SEND Admin Assistant job summary
Are you highly motivated, well organised and thrive in an ever changing and busy environment?
We are looking to appoint a highly efficient and accurate Admin Assistant with a positive attitude to provide essential support to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator SENDCO and the SEND department.
The successful candidate will support the SENDCO and team with a range of administrative tasks and will need to have strong organisational and administrative skills, good ICT skills, be a team player, have patience and a sense of humour.
As well as working as part of a team, you will also be expected to use your own initiative, be proactive and will have excellent communication, time management and organisational skills with the ability to maintain a calm and professional manner at all times.
This position is on a rolling temporary contract subject to SEN funding.
Previous experience of working with young people within a school environment would be an advantage.

Rainhill High School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form centre located in Rainhill, Merseyside, England.
The school converted to an academy under Rainhill Learning Village in March 2017. More recently, the school has become part of the Stephenson Trust.
The school is the official Liverpool F.C. Academy Education Centre in Merseyside for under-18 players to be educated. Notable former pupils from the academy include Raheem Sterling and Trent Alexander-Arnold. The school has recently partnered with FA FE to strengthen post-16 education for the players. FE FA is owned and run by Robbie Fowler, former Liverpool and England footballer.
In addition to Liverpool FC, it has formal partnerships with Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Liverpool John Moores University and University of Leeds.
