Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to lead our new School Nurture Base. This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant school community and positively impact the educational journey of our students. The provision will be launched in September 2025 but will have a soft launch during the summer term. The role will also be to support our SENCO. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching SEND children and be familiar with a range of provisions/ interventions.

The role will include:

Working with class teachers to plan a curriculum for the children attending the nurture provision

Delivering the curriculum for the children attending the provision in a variety of ways which match the needs to the children

Support teaching assistants who may be working with children in the provision

Supporting our SENCO

Undertake weekly planning for and carry out assessments for the children accessing the provision.

Work with the SENCO and class teachers to plan and address provision identified in EHCPs
