Qualifications

  • The Class Teacher should have experience of teaching that has made a positive impact on children’s learning and outcomes.

Experience

The Class Teacher should have knowledge and understanding of:

  • Child development;

  • The theory and practice of effectively meeting the individual needs of every child (e.g. classroom organisation and learning strategies);

  • Effective teaching and learning styles.

  • The monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting of pupils’ progress; The positive links necessary within school and with all its stakeholders;
