Classroom Teacher (part-time .60% fte) job summary
Bents Green School is a multi site school for students with autistic spectrum conditions and communication and interaction difficulties. We currently have 251 students on roll and our numbers are continuing to increase.
The Governors of Bents Green School are seeking to appoint for September 2021, part time (.60% fte) permanent classroom teacher. This post will be based at either our Ringinglow or Gleadless sites.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people with severe and complex learning difficulties and/or ASD and will be committed to raising standards of attainment and achievement for young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will receive mentoring and training to support you in this role.
The successful candidate should:-
Have an ability to teach a range of subjects (please specify areas where you could delivery high quality subject teaching in your application).
Be dynamic, dedicated and an enthusiastic teacher with suitable qualifications and experience.
Be familiar with the National Curriculum and other syllabus requirements.
Be committed to involving parents and the community in the life of the school and the drive towards inclusion
Aspire to be the best and believe you have the skills to achieve the highest standards for yourself, your colleagues and the young people you teach.
Should have an up to date Team Teach qualification or a willingness to train for this.
