A life changing opportunity, for you and our children
Permanent vacancies across our six schools, commencing September 2020
Harbourside Learning Partnership was launched on 1st July 2016 and is a collaborative group of six successful Junior, Primary and Infant schools in Poole. All of the schools within our Partnership enjoy a strong reputation within the communities they serve; we are excited about the direction that our schools are taking together. Recent inspections have been overwhelmingly positive about the work of our schools which are characterised by a positive, inclusive ethos as well as happy, supportive and professional environments. The children at Harbourside Learning Partnership are our best ambassadors – they are proud of their schools.
Our Poole schools are seeking to appoint several full time, permanent teachers for September 2020 into vacancies which cover the full primary age range. Applications are invited from newly qualified and experienced teachers, both of whom will be offered support, encouragement and opportunities to flourish. We are looking for positive, talented and creative individuals to join our teaching teams – we require teachers who will engage children, promote their achievements and their wellbeing; teachers who will inspire pupils and bring learning to life.
Whilst open to experienced teachers, these vacancies present an ideal opportunity for those who are preparing to start their new careers: as a newly qualified teacher, we can offer you:
Generous dedicated non-contact time
Benefits of working within a supportive and collaborative team
A committed and supportive coach and mentor
Positive, enthusiastic and courteous children
Commitment to your ongoing continued professional development
Supportive and nurturing leadership
In return for your commitment, we can offer an environment in which you are encouraged to learn and progress, whether this be through professional qualifications or an ongoing programme of CPD and coaching and mentoring with colleagues. Our group of six very different schools provide a range of opportunities for secondment and progression for staff. A cycle to work scheme, computer purchase scheme, health and wellbeing benefits and a discounted nursery compliment the offer to staff.
We are soon to enter into the next phase in our development, working with another two local Trusts to combine our efforts under the name of ‘Coastal Learning Partnership’. This venture will see greater continuing development and professional opportunities for all of our staff, still within school environments which celebrate their unique qualities. Our partners, Saturn Education Trust in the Purbecks and Ocean Learning Trust in Bournemouth, share the excitement about our future together and they too welcome applications from those wishing to apply under this advert to their schools.
These vacancies exist across our group of Poole schools. We are committed to supporting you in your early career goals and encourage you to provide information regarding your preferences for schools and key stages as appropriate. Those appointed may be invited to join any of our existing Poole school teams and the information you provide will ensure that we are able to offer an environment which is right for you.
We are holding a dedicated event for you to come along and find out more about working with Harbourside schools and the opportunities which will be available to you as part of the newly formed ‘Coastal Learning Partnership’. To register your interest in this event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01202 689418. Do come and meet us between 3pm and 5pm on Monday 13th January in the Harbourside Learning Partnership offices at Oakdale Junior School in Poole.
