What skills and experience we're looking for
You will be required to support the development of pupils’ teaching and learning and their physical and mental wellbeing on a one-to-one or in a small group basis. As part of a team you will help to encourage and develop independent learning, promoting excellent behaviours and creating a vibrant, happy and exciting learning environment, enabling our children to achieve their best.
With a good knowledge and understanding of how to support learning for children and building effective relationships with children, staff and parents, you will assist in providing a wide range of activities and learning activities. Ensuring a safe environment, you will prepare and clear away materials and resources as required. With good interpersonal and communication skills, you will be organised, flexible and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust so as to develop and nurture independence. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
