What skills and experience we're looking for
Millthorpe School is seeking to recruit a Classroom Teaching Assistant to work in our successful Inclusion Department. The successful applicant will support individuals in the classroom or in the Inclusion base. They will support the progress of students in terms of their academic progress or emotional needs under the direction of the class teacher. The role may also involve responsibility for some learning activities or interventions.
The person we are looking for may have experience that is appropriate to working with children in a learning environment, and an awareness of children/young person’s development and learning. However, an interest in developing these skills will equally be considered. Most importantly, applicants will have excellent interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with a range of staff, children, young people and their families and carers.
Interviews will be held during the week commencing 27 February 2023.
