We wish to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious Early Years Class Teacher to join our dynamic team. Applications are welcomed from recently qualified or more experienced staff who have a thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning in the Early Years and across the primary phase.
Thomas Barnes is a vibrant primary school in Tamworth which was judged to be Outstanding by Ofsted in 2014. We have a hardworking, dedicated team of staff who show a commitment to continually raising standards. Our children are polite and friendly with a genuine willingness to learn. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning and is an excellent practitioner.

- An excellent classroom practitioner
- An understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues in relation to EYFS
- Creative and stimulating teaching strategies which engage and motivate pupils
- Experience of leading and developing a subject area
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team
- Someone who is committed to raising standards
- Someone who has high expectations for behaviour
- A creative and enthusiastic individual
- An ability to model good practice and engage in self-reflection
