Sywell is proud to be a part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, alongside 36 other schools in the Northamptonshire, Rutland and Peterborough area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join our team. Seeking to support, inspire and lead our brilliant children, the successful candidate will be motivated with a drive to support the children’s personal and academic progression. We are looking to appoint someone who:

Is enthusiastic, approachable and friendly

Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn

Has an understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children

Is able to deliver high quality first teaching

Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies

Has experience of effective subject leadership across the primary age range

Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently and above all is a committed team member

Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school
