Cleaner job summary
13.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Working hours: 6:00am – 8:45am (Mon–Thurs), 6:00am – 8:30am (Fri) Term Time + 4 weeks
We are looking to appoint a reliable, friendly, and proactive Morning Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for cleaning a designated area of the school – including classrooms, toilets, and communal spaces – under the direction of the Site Manager.
Duties will include:
Routine cleaning of all designated areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and damp dusting.
Cleaning toilets and washrooms to a high standard, ensuring hygiene is maintained.
Replenishing consumables such as soap and toilet rolls as required.
Reporting any defects, damage or health and safety concerns to the Site Manager.
Following agreed cleaning schedules and health & safety guidelines.
Desirable qualities:
Previous cleaning experience (training will be provided if needed).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A high level of attention to detail.
Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
