Cromwell Community College are seeking dedicated and reliable Cleaners to join our facilities team. This role is vital in ensuring that the school remains a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

About us:

Cromwell Community College, a member of the Active Learning Trust, is a good, oversubscribed school which aspires to be outstanding. In 2020 we became the first all-through school (4-18) in Cambridgeshire and currently have EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 in our primary phase, a full secondary phase and sixth form. We have a vibrant, modern learning environment enabling students to flourish academically and socially. Our central ethos of care, respect for the needs of others, courtesy and a warm community feel provides an atmosphere where our students can make the very best of their talents to achieve success and are inspired to fulfil their potential.

About the role:

This role will offer the opportunity to work in our cleaning team with a cohort of hard working, motivated staff. You will be given responsibility for an area of the academy and will be expected to make it your own and take pride in its appearance. You will have a set list of tasks to complete each shift, but will have autonomy in creating your own routine to ensure that your work is efficient and effective.

Terms of Appointment:

We have vacancies for two different shift patterns: mornings and earlies.

This is a permanent position offered on a part-time basis, working during school term-time and the 5 staff training days throughout the academic year.

Working hours for the morning shift: 7.5 per week – Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 08:00.

Working hours for the earlies shift: 12.5 per week – Monday to Friday, 15:30 to 18:00.

Please specify on your application form which shift pattern you wish to apply for.

The ideal candidate:

You will be an experienced and organised cleaner, with great attention to detail and excellent time management. Working both as an individual and as part of a large team, you will have good interpersonal and communication skills. Being able to prioritise your workload and manage your task list independently is essential to this role.

Why Join Us?
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students and to work in a forward-thinking academy with a commitment to inclusion and development. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
