WORKING PATTERN: Temporary for 12 months, with a view to becoming permanent, 8 hours per week, 45.2 weeks paid per year, Working Day/Hours; Monday-Friday, flexibility is possible with the hours either before or after school (with possible overtime during the academic year)

We are seeking a diligent and proactive cleaner with good interpersonal skills and high standards. In return, we can promise a school full of amazing children, a genuine staff team and a well-resourced environment.

The Cleaner will be directly responsible to the Cleaner in Charge but will work closely with the Headteacher, Office Manager and other school staff.

The Cleaner is responsible for the upkeep of the school site, ensuring the classrooms and other areas within the school building are clean and safe, ready for the children and staff to work, learn and play.

We are seeking:

Someone that is proactive and diligent

Previous cleaning experience is desirable

A conscientious person who sets high standards with attention to detail

Someone who can develop good relationships with staff and has excellent communication skills

A good team member, but able to work independently
