Cleaner job summary

Hours: 10 hours per week term time

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Salary: Grade 1 point 2 - £22183 (Pro Rata)

We are looking to appoint a motivated, reliable and organised cleaner. As part of our cleaning team, they will be responsible for keeping a defined area of the school clean. The successful candidate will need to take pride in their work, be trustworthy and flexible and able to following cleaning programmes and procedures.

The role of the cleaner will be to provide an efficient and effective cleaning and support service to designated areas of the School.

This includes, vacuuming carpets and upholstery, dusting, control mopping of hard surface flooring, machine buffing, cleaning of toilets, sinks, baths, showers as dictated by local procedures.

Emptying waste bins, and ensuring the safe and correct disposal of waste in accordance with School Policies on Waste and Infection Control.
