St Augustine Academy is dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and supportive learning environment for our students and staff. We are looking for a reliable and diligent Cleaner to join our team and help maintain our high standards, working Monday to Friday from 5:30am to 8:00am and 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the school. Working closely with the site team, you will:
Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
Ensuring surfaces, floors, and windows are spotless and well-maintained.
Handling cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the site team.
Working as part of a team to ensure the cleanliness of the entire academy.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will;
Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
Ensuring surfaces, floors, and windows are spotless and well-maintained.
Handling cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the site team.
Working as part of a team to ensure the cleanliness of the entire academy.
Informal visits are welcome.

DBS Checks
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Amendment Order 1986 and, as such, it will be necessary for a Submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
