Cleaner job summary
Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC is looking to recruit a Cleaner. The role will be based at St. Marie’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery, at either our Dunchurch Road school site or Merttens Drive school site.
This is a permanent, part-time position (10 hours per week), term time only plus 2 weeks (40 weeks per year).
Main responsibilities:
- To clean specified areas within the school in accordance with the school’s standards.
- To ensure that work is undertaken under the guidance of the caretaker.
- Contribute to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
The successful candidate will:
- be fully supportive of the aims and ethos of our Catholic School.
- be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- have good communication, listening skills and empathy with pupils.
- have energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
