Cleaner job summary

Cleaning opportunity, working negotiable hours, term time plus 1 week in the summer (7.00 - 8.30am and/or 3.15 - 5.45pm, Mon-Fri, 39 weeks total/))

We have fantastic cleaning opportunities in a lovely school, morning and afternoon hours available. Duties include all aspects of cleaning within a school such as sweeping and mopping of floors, dusting of surfaces, cleaning of toilets and equipment throughout the school, as well as emptying of bins and refilling and replacing consumables. The role involves working in line our Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and the willingness to gain knowledge of COSHH Regulations and Safe Working Practices and undertake any necessary training. PPE is supplied where necessary.

We are looking for cleaners to join our friendly team, under the leadership of our School Caretaker. The positions equate to 37.5 hours per week in total, with a range of shifts available for the right candidate. The successful candidate/s would be contracted for 39 weeks per year to allow 1 week over the summer for a whole-team deep clean of the school. Experience of working in a cleaning role advantageous, but not necessary for the right candidate.
