Working pattern

Part time (Can be done as a job share): 20 hours per week - The working pattern for this role during term time will be Monday to Friday 7am - 8:30am and 3:15pm - 5:45pm. During school closure periods, the hours will be 4 hours per day between 7am and 2pm, this can be negotiable.

What skills and experience we're looking for

  • A working knowledge of health and safety that they can apply to the role.
  • An ability to establish positive relationships with others to work as part of the wider site team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and an understanding of using cleaning equipment would be desirable.

Tyneview Primary School is seeking to appoint a cleaner who can help maintain a safe, clean and hygienic environment for our learners. Duties will include; cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of bins, polishing and dusting.

Tyneview Primary School is a single form entry school catering for primary-aged children from 2 – 11 years old with an Additional Resources Provision for up to 10 pupils. Our school motto is ‘maximising potential’ which we do through delivering a high-quality and relevant curriculum for all. We set high expectations of our children and they have every opportunity to become confident and independent learners. Our aim is to be as inclusive as possible making sure that any opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and resilience are taken.
