Cleaner

This post is a permanent position, 10-12.5 hours per week, term time only plus additional 30 hours spread over the academic year during school holidays. The role reports to the site manager and head teacher.

Job Purpose

To clean the school building to the required standard

Main Tasks & Accountabilities:

• To carry out the cleaning of the interior of the school, to an agreed standard, under the direction of the line manager
• To be aware of Health and Safety issues around the school site
• To report any problems and/or incidents to the line manager
• To retain confidentiality about all aspects of school life
• Any other duties that reasonably fall within the purview of the post which may be allocated after consultation with the post holder

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
