Hours/working pattern: Part time, 17.5 hours per week Monday – Friday.

Our Opportunity

We have a vacancy for a reliable and committed individual to work within our existing team to oversee the school cleaning staff. You must be approachable, and motivational with a can-do attitude and be capable of working as part of a team as well as working alone.

You will need to have excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and students.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Line Manage the cleaning staff.
  • Store equipment and products safely.
  • Carry out inspections on school buildings to identify cleaning requirements.
  • Oversee the cleaning budget.
  • Carry out cleaning duties around the school.
  • Participate in the training, development, and performance management processes within the school.

Filey Secondary School
