CLERICAL ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST job summary
We seek to appoint a Receptionist to a Part-time term time only post at James Watt Primary School in Birmingham to start as soon as possible.
The Successful applicant will be required to;
provide reception and switchboard support to the school
provide clerical support to the school’s administrative function
a working knowledge of Microsoft packages and a knowledge of SIMS would be advantageous
administer attendance registers each morning and afternoon
stamping and franking mail
any other duties as commensurate within the grade of the role
First Aid Certificate or a willingness to acquire appropriate training and accreditation.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
