Clerical & Attendance Assistant job summary

St Michael’s CE (A) Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and appointment will be subject to a satisfactory clearance.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract in the first instance, working 20 hours per week from 9am - 1pm.

We are keen to appoint a Clerical and Attendance Assistant to provide essential administrative support, including managing incoming/outgoing mail, handling phone calls, and assisting with various office tasks. This role requires strong organisational, communication, and IT skills. Applications are particularly welcome from individuals with a history of working in a customer-focused environment.
