Clerk to Governors
Hours: 2.3 hours per week/for each school. - Evening work required.
Working pattern: Negotiable (Hybrid model)
Salary: Scale 5, Point 12-17 - £26,421- £28,770 FTE
Contract type: Permanent, flexible hours over 52 weeks.
Locations: Bassingbourn Village College and The Meadow Primary School (with the addition of Linton Heights Junior in July)

The Vacancy
We are seeking to appoint one or more Clerks to provide administrative support to several of our school Local Governing Bodies and Trust Board Committees.
The successful candidate/s will provide:
- - Effective administration of Local Governing Body meetings and membership
- Professional support and governance advice, in line with our policies and regulatory framework
- Support with the Trust wide annual cycle of activity including governance documents, training, and template
- Locum cover for Local Governing Body/Trust Board meeting (additional hours)
- Support for panel hearings (additional hours)
In due course, there may be scope for the role to grow to cover additional Trust schools and/or to support the central governance function across Anglian Learning. Experience in school governance is desirable but not essential, we are looking for individuals who:
Can work proactively and at pace directing your own workload. Have excellent communication and proficient interpersonal skills to enable the development of strong, professional relationships with Local Governors, Head Teachers and other key staff across Anglian Learning.
Are experienced in effective meeting administration, preparation of agendas, participation in formal meetings and quality minute taking.
This part-time role is ideal if you are looking for flexibility and elements of home working, whilst still being part of a wider team.
