Greenfield & Pulloxhill Academy
Location: Greenfield & Pulloxhill Schools
Pay: £85 per meeting
Greenfield & Pulloxhill Academy are looking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body (Board of Directors of Greenfield & Pulloxhill Multi-Academy Trust).
The academy consists of two small lower schools which are situated a mile apart. We are Values Education Schools and work very closely as a team.
The Governing Body meets up to 6 times per year and an Annual Meeting is held in January.
The main duties include:
• Provide advice to the governing body – advise on governance legislation and procedural matters, ensure that statutory policies are in place and regularly reviewed, assist in the induction of new governors.
• Effective administration of meetings – liaise with the Chair to prepare an agenda, liaise with those preparing papers and distribute to governors, take minutes of the meetings and circulate within agreed timescales.
• Administration of membership – advise appointing bodies on the election of governors, maintain a register of pecuniary interests, ensure DBS clearance is carried out as necessary, update or inform necessary bodies on appointments and resignations.
• Manage information – maintain terms of reference, governors’ details, training records, update governors’ area on the academy website.
