Clerk to the Governors – Windwhistle Primary School, Weston-super-Mare

Hours a minimum of 6 meetings per year plus administration requirements

Pay £12 per hour

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Windwhistle Primary School for a clerk to the Local Governing Body.

The clerk to the governing role is a key contributor to the effectiveness of the governing board. The clerk will work closely with the Headteacher and chair of governors to ensure the smooth running of the Local Governing Body. Proven clerking experience in the education sector will be a distinct advantage in this role. You will have good organisational, ICT and minute taking skills to support the preparation, attendance, and minute taking of the governing body meetings.

This is a part time role, with time demands that will change week to week in accordance with the meeting schedule of the school. The post requires flexibility with working hours and the ability to attend meetings which are usually held during the evening. The role will provide some opportunity for working from home such as meeting administration and typing up of minutes.
