Clerk to Trustees/Governance Professional job summary
12 hours per week over 40 weeks per year
The person we are lookingfor will be able to provide a full professional clerking service, including minute taking, for all trust board and committee meetings.Main duties will include:
- Retaining accurate and up to date records around pecuniary interest and training
- Line managing the local governing body clerks, covering meetings where necessary
- Ensuring excellent communication between trust and local governance
- Tracking actions from meetings, providing reminders and drafting agendas
- Retaining records of governor and trustee training and pecuniary interests
- Managing the policy renewal and approval cycle
We are looking to bring this role in-house and expand the responsibilities to include policy management, having purchased the service externally in the past.
