Cluster Finance Manager job summary
Thank you for your interest in the position of Cluster Finance Manager at True Learning Partnership (TLP).
This is an exciting time to join our growing corporate team, where you will support the schools that comprise our Trust.
The True Learning Partnership is responsible for five schools (three primary and two secondary) set in a beautiful region spanning the Cheshire – Derbyshire border. Our schools are all rated Good by Ofsted, continuously self-improving, and very popular. We work collaboratively and with a real community focus, providing an excellent education in settings where all pupils can flourish. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved to date, and are excited about the next phase of our journey.
As Finance Manager to a cluster of schools you will be responsible for the provision of an effective and customer focused finance service, contributing to and managing the schools’ finance transactions and day to day processes.
You will act as a key link between the central Trust team and the schools to support the Headteachers to make informed decisions in the best interests of their pupils, by the provision of competent financial information, analysis, and insight. The Cluster Finance Manager will initially work with our two secondary schools; however, the nature and make-up of school clusters may change based on Trust needs and therefore flexibility and adaptability are key.
There is an expectation to maintain a significant presence on both school sites, ensuring staff and stakeholders are fully supported, however the role does provide some flexibility for hybrid working across school sites, central office and home. The successful candidate will need to be able to travel to all current and new Trust schools as required.
The ideal candidate will be an organised, detail-orientated individual with experience of managing budgets, financial functions and financial analysis and reports. You might currently work within a financial management or supervisory role or be a School Business Manager with budgetary responsibility. If you believe you have the required skills and attributes for this role, we look forward to receiving your application.
