COLLEGE LIBRARIAN/LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE MANAGER
Maternity Cover
Term Time Only: 29 Hours per week
Salary: NJC Grade 7 £22,021 - £23,836 per annum, pro rata
(Actual Salary in the region of £14,375 - £15,560)
Start date: September 2020 TBC
A creative, self-motivated and highly organised individual is required to provide maternity cover for our librarian. The ability to inspire and challenge readers of all ages is essential, as is the enthusiasm and energy to operationally manage an effective library resource centre within a rapidly changing IT environment.
In fulfilling the requirements of the post, the librarian/resource centre manager will demonstrate essential professional characteristics. You will need to be motivated, have excellent communication and organisation skills, have a flexible and calm approach and be able to respond to the needs of the School. You will embrace the vision for how learning can be supported and extended.
Applicants should be able to communicate well verbally and have a good standard of numeracy and literacy, demonstrating experience or skills in support of the job role.
