Academy Cleaner x 10 hours per week
Working 2 hours per day in each role

Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy is looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor and Cleaner in a combined role who is able to relate well to children and support their needs during lunchtime and provide cleaning duties. The role is part-time, term time only, to be made permanent following a successful six-month probation period.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 11.00am – 3.00pm, working 2 hours per day as Midday Supervisor and 2 hours per day as Academy Cleaner.
Salary:
Midday Supervisor £18,562 per annum pro rata, actual annual salary £4,295.86 (£9.43 per hour).
Academy Cleaner £17,364 per annum pro rata, actual annual salary £4,018.60 (£9.25 per hour).
Responsible to: Senior Midday Supervisor
The successful applicant will:
Provide a positive role model to all children in the academy within the age range of 4-11 years.
Ensure that lunchtime activities are supported and managed in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures under the overall direction of the Principal including:- undertaking playground and play leadership duties and ensuring the children have a safe and fun playtime, organising games and helping to settle issues that arise.
Develop good relationships with staff, and other professionals.
Contribute to the Catholic ethos of our Academy
The Academy Cleaner role will include carrying out under reasonable direction the appropriate duties in the case of the buildings and the teaching environment, in matters of safety, cleanliness and comfort conducive to the working needs of pupils, staff and other site users.
