This is an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Events Coordinator to join the CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) team within an outstanding Sixth Form College.

The Trust has already created a number of centralised functions to support the delivery of outstanding education, including HR, Finance & payroll, Estates & facilities and Careers guidance. This is an exciting time for a Communications and Events Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Careers Team to be responsible for the operational aspects of volunteering, Careers Education Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) events and communications with students and the wider community via social media platforms.

To be effective within the role you will need to have the following qualities and skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build rapport with others

  • Ability to prioritise conflicting demands in order to meet deadlines

  • A ‘can do’ attitude

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Strong IT skills
