Join the vibrant team at Ryburn Valley High School as the Communications Lead and embark on a journey that is not only professionally fulfilling but also makes a significant impact on our educational community. Effective communication and a natural positive outlook lies at the heart of a successful school, and as a member of Together Learning Trust’s Communications Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the school’s narrative.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, versatile communications professional who can bring a broad skillset and sparkle to help shape this role. Organised and clear-thinking, you’ll be able manage multiple priorities and deadlines, maintaining a cohesive, positive and professional brand identity and ensuring positive news and values are promoted loud and clear both outside and inside of the school. Strong writing skills for a variety of purposes and audiences are essential, as is good design sense and attention to detail and quality.
This role promises to be creative and varied, with the lead responsibility for the day to day communications output including social media, website, newsletters, internal displays and key school events such as open evenings and our community lunch. You’ll be confident and positive and able to build strong productive relationships at all levels, from senior colleagues to student leaders. Whilst an interest in working around young people is essential, your background might extend beyond the education sector, bringing a fresh perspective to our team.
Rest assured, you won't be embarking on this journey alone. You'll work closely with the central communication team (currently also based at Ryburn) and in collaboration with the two other secondary school comms leads, and will also work within Ryburn’s wider admin team. Ryburn’s Head of School and Senior Leadership Team hold the communications role in high regard, understanding the immense value it brings.
If you're a proactive, relationship-building self-starter who thrives on creativity and variety, we want to hear from you. Become an integral part of Ryburn’s story, where your communication expertise creates lasting impact.
If our school sounds like a place in which you could really make a difference, then we’d love to hear from you.
