Communications Manager job summary
drb Ignite Multi Academy Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Communications Manager to support our Head of Communications in promoting the work and achievements of our Trust.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering impactful communication strategies, managing digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that shares a passion for education and the positive impact it has on young people’s lives.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Communications in the development and implementation of communication strategies across the Trust.
- Create, manage, and evaluate digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with the Trust’s vision and values.
- Draft engaging content for various platforms, including newsletters, websites, and social media.
- Manage the Trust’s digital presence, including social media accounts and newsletters ensuring content is up-to-date and consistent with the Trust’s brand guidelines.
- Manage all content on the Trust and school websites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including schools, local communities, partners, and external media.
- Support the planning and delivery of internal communications to ensure key messages are effectively communicated across the Trust.
- Assist in the organisation and promotion of events, celebrations, and other Trust activities.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication and key events, using analytics and feedback to inform future strategies.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and emerging platforms to continuously improve the Trust’s outreach and engagement.
- Oversee the consistent application of the Trust’s brand across all communication channels and schools, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines in tone, visuals, and messaging.
- Collaborate with HR to create and promote campaigns that attract talented staff across the Trust, highlighting the Trust’s values, culture, and benefits.
- Ensure all digital communications and content across the Trust’s platforms adhere to accessibility standards, ensuring inclusivity for all users.
