Community Engagement and Fundraising Manager job summary
Are you committed to social justice and improving the life chances of young people from under-resourced backgrounds? Orion Education, a group of eight schools across London and the Southeast is searching for an accomplished fundraising strategist and community engagement expert to help us mobilise our exciting new strategy.
Over the coming months we will be setting up a charitable foundation, seeking to grow our group of schools and hoping to raise additional funds to support under resourced-young people in our schools. You will help to;
- Develop the Trust's fundraising plan
- Proactively apply for funds and grants to support our work
- Work closely to shape the delivery of our community strategy
- Work with principals to support the fundraising needs of our schools
Ideally you will have a proven track record of success within this field. An excellent communicator with strong networks, you will quickly be able to establish effective partnerships and secure additional funds and grants for our community.
Some remote working as required with an expectation that the successful candidate will be able to work at the Trust office and visit our schools at least once a week.
