The person we are looking for should:

Qualifications and experience:
- A graduate with qualified teacher status. This post is suitable for ECTs.
- An outstanding teacher in Computer Science IT, with a track record of delivering strong outcomes at KS4.
- Relevant qualifications (both formal and through appropriate experience) meet the challenge of the appointment.
- Excellent in-depth knowledge of the place of Computer Science IT in the development of young people and of the place of within the wider curriculum.
- The ability to teach Computer Science / IT to Key Stage 3, 4 & 5.

Duties of role will
include:
- Bringing impactful capacity to the team, including working in close collaboration with the Curriculum Leader
- To be able to secure high standards of learning and achievement in Computer Science / IT across the full ability range at Key Stage 4 and 5.
- To be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge
- To be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies and know how to use them to provide opportunities for all learners to achieve their potential
- To have high expectations of our young people
- To be prepared to contribute to broad aspects of IT and Computer Science.
- To be able to work effectively as part of a team, to identify opportunities for sharing good practice

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic non-teacher to work across year 7. Alongside the Heads of Year, the successful candidates will play a key role in the progress and achievement of all students. The main role of the Deputy Head of Year is to work collaboratively with and in support of Heads of Year, Senior Leaders and the Student Support Team to provide comprehensive care, support and guidance for students in Year groups in order to ensure they meet the school’s high expectations of attitudes to learning, behaviour and attainment.
