What skills and experience we're looking for
Mainstream Teachers – Do you want a new challenge? Consider joining our Outstanding School and becoming a Qualified Teacher for the Deaf! We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed computing teacher to join a well-established team at an inspiring school for Deaf children in Hertfordshire. Part- time applicants welcome.
You will need to have an innovative and engaging approach to lessons to facilitate access to the computing National Curriculum. You will be supported in how this can be adapted for deaf students. You should also be adept in monitoring and assessing to ensure the best possible progress and have high expectations of all learners.
The successful candidate will have a commitment to developing outstanding practice and a passion for making a difference to the education and lives of Heathlands students by motivating and inspiring them to ‘be the best that they can be’.
