Computing Teacher (Full-time or Part-time) job summary

We are looking for a teacher to join our Computer Science Department at a very exciting time.

WHSG has just been designated to be one of 30 Computing Hubs working across the country to to deliver CPD and school to school support across the area of North East London, Essex, Southend and Thurrock.

Required from September 2020, an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of Computing to teach throughout the school KS3, KS4 and KS5

WHSG has become one of the first schools in England to be awarded official Computer Hub status by the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE), in order to provide support for primary and secondary computing teachers in schools in the area. It is recognition of the high-quality standards we set in computing education at this school and our track record of supporting other schools over a number of years. This is an exciting time to be joining Computer Science with opportunities to be involved in the development of this programme.

The Computing department is a strong and successful department, committed to continually improving teaching methods to provide greatest benefit to the students.
