We are seeking a well-qualified and experienced teacher to join our Computer Science department. The successful applicant will have an excellent degree in their subject area and help to produce strong results through inspired teaching ensuring the students enjoy and understand the subject, including robust numbers at A level. The successful candidate should have a strong academic background, and will be expected to play a full role within the Department.
The requirement for teaching Computer Science is advertised as 0.4. However the contractual terms could be increased up to a full time role, if the candidate is able to teach a second subject such as Maths. The position would suit a newly qualified or an experienced teacher.

Watford Grammar School for Girls is a partially selective 11-18 girls’ school, founded as ‘The Free School’ in Watford in 1704 with a mission to teach girls, initially alongside their brothers, from the outset. This makes us one of the oldest girls’ school in the country.
