St Clements Hill Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to support and work across the primary phase. This will initially be in KS1 and LKS2.
The role will be a mixture of class based teaching assistant tasks but also involve covering lessons for teachers who are absent or otherwise occupied. You will deliver lessons, implement work set by teachers, manage classes and assist pupils as appropriate.
Our city school, which sits at the heart of a growing community, opened in September 2018 and is situated on the edge of Norwich’s Northern Ring Road in NR3. We initially opened with a Reception Class and will reach capacity, up to Year 6, this September. We are looking for candidates who;
Have experience working with children in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2!
Are confident to deliver lesson to a class of primary aged children
Who are willing to be flexible and work across the primary range as required
Have good numeracy and literacy skills
Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
Able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
Can form positive relationships with children, families and staff
Understands the dynamics of being in a large school and the need for flexibility!
Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary
