About the Role
This role primarily focuses on the management of student behaviour and consequences within the academy. Key duties include communicating with parents regarding student behaviour, sanctions, and exclusions, as well as administering appropriate sanctions. The post holder is responsible for organising supervision and work for students in the Consequences Room, monitoring their progress and behaviour, and actively promoting and safeguarding student welfare. The role also involves liaising with external agencies (including police and welfare), and maintaining confidential records.

We are a 11-16 academy based in the market town of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, on the eastern edge of the Erewash Valley which separates Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We became part of the Outwood Family of Schools in 2022 and are yet to be inspected by Ofsted.
