Job summary

 We are seeking to appoint a Counsellor for our school. The post would suit an experienced qualified counsellor seeking to expand their counselling expertise. The role is offered on a permanent basis working 18 hours per week over 3 days; however, the successful candidate will need to be flexible with these hours to meet the needs of the School.  The successful applicants will provide a high quality confidential counselling service for students and staff in accordance with BACP guidelines within the Wellbeing Centre. The post holder must hold a recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey empathy and relate well to all members of the school and the wider community.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive School where development for staff is a priority.
