What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Richard Huish College in our apprenticeship and adult skills provision. Our experienced Course Manager will work with the successful candidate to hand over the course management of our highly successful Accountancy provision.

The Course Manager is responsible for planning and delivering exceptional teaching in AAT and managing others to do the same. Experience delivering ACCA is desirable but not essential. The person appointed will be supported to build their knowledge about apprenticeship and adult skills provision by the outgoing Course Manager, so the post would suit either an experienced manager or someone looking to take the next step in their career. The successful person must be willing to work with employers to build relationships and recruit new apprentices. Liaising with employers, the Course Manager will coordinate the training for their apprentices and support them to complete portfolios and end point assessment.

  • Salary: Sixth Form Colleges Teachers pay scale up to £49,243 depending on experience
  • Hours: Full time, term time only
  • Start Date: date to be agreed depending on notice period.
